Integrated Watershed Management Planning

The purpose of Integrated Watershed Management Planning (IWMP) (PDF 229 KB) is to identify and document current watershed health, create a drinking source water protection plan, and provide a management plan for other local water-related issues.

The IWMP process is underway across the province staff from various sections of Manitoba Agriculture  are involved in organizing submissions from federal, provincial and non-government organizations. Manitoba Agriculture staff in the Lands Use and Ecosystems Branch provide technical information on soil and agriculture topics.
