Group Orientations
The Archives of Manitoba, including the Hudson’s Bay Company Archives, offers orientations to groups (including university classes) that will be doing research using records from our holdings. Orientations introduce groups to our records as well as the reference tools, policies and procedures related to doing archival research at the Archives of Manitoba, including the Hudson’s Bay Company Archives. Orientations may be customized to focus on specific research interests or types of records and may also include an overview of our current exhibit and the Hudson’s Bay Company Archives display vault.
- Requests must be received at least 15 business days before the proposed date.
- Our ability to conduct the orientation is dependent on staff availability.
- Orientations are available to groups of up to 15 participants.
