The Resource Development office located at 360-1395 Ellice Avenue will be open for in-person visits as of June 8th/2022.  Staff are accessible by appointment only and the Resource Centre will remain closed to the public until further notice.

  • To book an appointment at the Midland Library, please call 204-945-6550. Please review Midland's COVID-19 protocols before arriving at your prescheduled appointment time.

Our goal is to deliver authoritative geoscience information to support, facilitate and promote mineral and petroleum exploration in the province, as well as to administer legislation governing the disposition of mineral rights (permits, claims and leases), exploration, development, production of the province's non-fuel mineral resources and rehabilitation of mines and quarries.
