Celebrating the People Who Make Manitoba Stronger

The Manitoba Mosaic Awards honour newcomers, immigrants, refugees and community champions whose leadership, compassion, and creativity help build a more inclusive and welcoming province.

Each award recognizes people and organizations who are making a meaningful impact–whether by sparking change, building bridges, supporting others, or creating opportunity.

Community Spark Award

Recognizing inspiring leadership by a newcomer, immigrant, or refugee.
This award honours individuals who are igniting change through leadership, advocacy, volunteerism, or creative efforts that bring people together and strengthen community life.

Young Bridge Builder Award

Celebrating newcomer youth (ages 14-29) who connect communities.
This award shines a light on young leaders who are creating understanding and inclusion across cultures and generations–whether in schools, neighbourhoods, online, or beyond.

Newcomer Trailblazer Award

Honouring bold innovation and community leadership.
This award celebrates newcomers who are creating new paths forward–whether by launching a business, leading a project, or mentoring others–while overcoming barriers and inspiring change.
