Records Advisory Services

Government Records Office analysts provide expert advice and support to government departments and agencies on recordkeeping best practices, requirements, issues and challenges including  electronic recordkeeping, facilitation of retention and disposal authorities (records schedules) and a variety of program specific recordkeeping needs.

Government Records Centre Services

The Government Records Centre (GRC) provides centralized records storage, retrieval and destruction services for all government departments and agencies.

GRC staff provide guidance to government offices preparing records for transfer, and respond to questions related to the transfer and tracking of records, and retrieval of semi-active records by government offices.

Preservation Services

The Archives of Manitoba's Preservation Services staff can provide advice on a range of preservation and conservation matters, including information on disaster preparedness and emergency advice on salvaging damaged records.
