What is the Rural Library Technology Sustainability Grants Program?
This annual grant program provides funding to assist rural Manitoba libraries in providing current technology services to library clients.
Who can apply?
Public library boards established under Part II or Part III of The Public Libraries Act may apply for an annual Technology Sustainability Grant under this program.
What is the criteria?
Libraries must meet basic technical service standards as detailed in the current program year application form.
What is the funding formula?
Funds are distributed under this Program based on a set of weighted criteria, including number of municipalities served by the library, number of service points, municipal funding level and populations served.
