Minister's Message
Welcome to Manitoba Indigenous Reconciliation and Northern Relations
As Manitoba's Minister of Indigenous and Northern Relations, I am pleased to welcome you to the department's website, your gateway to information, programs and services about our work in these significant areas of provincial development.
Our government continues to work with Indigenous leaders and community organizations to ensure that Indigenous people have every opportunity to participate fully in the burgeoning economy and enjoy the great quality of life we share in Manitoba.
We are also making progress in realizing the tremendous potential of northern Manitoba, including in such key areas of regional economic development as education and training, human resource development, employment, transportation, housing and support for entrepreneurs. Succeeding in these important areas will benefit not only northern Manitobans and their communities, but will also have a positive ripple effect that strengthens the provincial economy as a whole.
I invite you to explore this website to learn more about our department's work in Indigenous and Northern Relations. We are proud to serve and appreciate your interest.
