- The Manitoba Health Transformation Program has been established to guide the thoughtful planning and phased implementation of broad health-system changes aimed at improving the quality, accessibility and efficiency of health-care services across Manitoba. A charter has been created to identify the high-level scope of the program, including its role and mandate. The charter will ensure there is a sound foundation for governance of the transformation program, define the program's scope and structure and ensure all stakeholders have a common understanding of role and responsibilities program's key leaders, projects, outcomes and results. - EMS Review: In 2012, a review by an independent consultant was commissioned to provide guidance and direction facilitating development of a more integrated, responsive, reliable and sustainable emergency medical services system.

Shared Health will be developing a provincial clinical and preventive plan and reviewing proposals made by rural and northern health regions. This work will provide a clinical foundation for further decisions to be made on recommendations from the Health Sustainability and Innovation Review, the Peachey Report and the Wait Times Reduction Task Force report.
