Children's disABILITY Services (CDS) is pleased to be partnering with St.Amant to deliver case management services to families raising children with autism. This will eliminate the current case management wait list for all families, and ensure every CDS-eligible families will have a case worker

CDS will start transferring families to St.Amant beginning in Spring 2023, with a thoughtful and phased  approach happening throughout the remainder of the fiscal year. Families already been advised if they will transfer to St.Amant for case management.


Q1: Why is Children’s disABILITY Services (CDS) partnering with St.Amant to deliver case management for families with children with autism?

A1: The current wait list for case management will be eliminated. For more information about St.Amant, visit www.stamant.ca.


Q2: Will families continue be offered a choice of autism early intervention service?

A2: Yes, families will continue to have a choice of which early intervention service is best for their child, whether this is the developmental-based Autism Outreach program delivered by Manitoba Families, or the behavioural-based Autism Early Learning Program delivered by St.Amant.


Q3: Will St.Amant offer services in French?

A3: As a designated bilingual agency, St.Amant will provide service in either French or English. If a family currently receives their service from CDS in French, they will continue to do so with St.Amant. Families who do not currently receive service in French, but would like to, should speak to their case worker about services in French.


Q4: Where can I get more information about being transferred to St.Amant?
