National Public Service Week 2012 - Food Sculpture Contest

Canned Pie SculptureWhether you consider yourself a budding Michelangelo or more of a Pablo Picasso type, it's time to break out your artistic skills in this year's Food Sculpture Contest in support of a local charity!

The NPSW 2012 Food Sculpture Contest is an opportunity for public servants from all across Manitoba to celebrate their commitment to building a stronger community by creating a “non-perishable”work of art.

The process is simple!

  1. Collect non-perishable food items to create a one-of-a-kind food sculpture

  2. Build your sculpture (in teams or as an individual)

  3. Take a photo of your completed sculpture and submit it to: lisbeth.savard@pc.gc.ca.

  4. Donate the food items used in your sculpture to the local charity of your choice

  5. Sit back and wait for crowd adoration and glory

Photos will be posted online. The lucky contest winner will be selected through online voting and will be contacted at a later date.
