Do Not Move Firewood

With your help, we can protect Manitoba’s beautiful trees and forests from harmful pests like the Emerald Ash Borer and the Asian Long-horned beetle.

Please do not move firewood from location to location. If you’re camping, purchase your firewood on site and when you leave, do not take your firewood with you.

There are also bright orange bins to dispose of your unused firewood at the Travel Manitoba Centres located along the TransCanada Highway at the Saskatchewan and Ontario borders.
